How to Use Your Tour Voucher?
- Please keep a digital copy of your voucher on your phone. The driver will check it when they pick you up.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque Abu Dhabi Important Information
- You’ll get a message when you book your tour.
- Most people can join this tour.
- Ladies should wear long, loose clothes covering their arms and legs and always cover their heads. If needed, the tour folks will give you a long black dress and a scarf to use.
- Men need to cover their shoulders and knees. We don’t provide special clothes for men.
- The tour includes the time to pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
- There’s a shuttle bus from the main gate of the palace, but you can’t have a guided tour inside the palace.
- For the morning tour, we’ll pick you up between 8:00 AM and 8:45 AM. Please be ready in the hotel lobby at 8:00 AM.
- For the afternoon tour, we’ll pick you up between 3:30 PM and 4:15 PM. Be prepared in the hotel lobby by 3:30 PM.
- Please give us your WhatsApp number so we can chat easily when we pick you up.
- We can pick you up from any Dubai city hotels, apartments, and cruise terminals (Port Rashid & Dubai Harbour). It might cost more if you’re outside the city.
- The mosque is open from Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (last entry at 9:30 PM). On Fridays, it’s open from 9 AM to 12 PM (last entry at 11:30 AM) and 3 PM to 10 PM (last entry at 9:30 PM).
- Cover up any tattoos when you visit the mosque.

Can kids go on the tours?
Yes, kids can go on the tours, but they must stay with their parents and be watched the whole time.
Where do the tours begin?
The tours begin on the East side of the mosque. If you’re unsure where that is, ask any of our friendly staff, who’ll show you where to go.
Are there any facilities for people with disabilities and older visitors?
Rihla Tours has wheelchairs for people with disabilities and older visitors. You can ask the security staff for one. They also have club cars to help transport visitors from the parking lots to the tour starting point.
Why can’t visitors bring food and drinks (even water) into the mosque?
Visitors can’t bring food or drinks because they might damage the mosque’s unique marble and carpets. We want to keep everything looking pleasant and protected.
Does the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque have guided tours?
The mosque offers free guided tours daily for individuals and groups. A tour guide will show you around and explain the mosque’s features and Islamic culture. Try to arrive about 15 minutes before the tour starts. Our staff will help you join the tour, which lasts 30 to 45 minutes.
