The Sharjah Heritage Museum, housed in a restored pearl merchant’s home from the eighteenth century, covers all aspects of Emirati culture, from religious customs to desert life. The emirate’s geographical location, way of life, celebrations, means of survival, traditional knowledge, and oral traditions are all covered in six galleries.
